New Release: “One More Time”

 

Blending elements of Pop Rock, Adult Contemporary, and Singer-Songwriter storytelling, “One More Time” is an emotional anthem about heartbreak, memory, and the difficulty of truly letting go. Inspired by watching one of his sons navigate the pain of a first love breakup, Ken Goodwin wrote the song from the perspective of someone who knows reopening the door may lead to more hurt but still does it anyway.

The spark came unexpectedly from a simple “No Trespassing” sign, which became the emotional centerpiece of the song’s message: sometimes we knowingly allow someone to cross boundaries we tried to put in place. That idea evolved into the powerful lyric and theme of letting someone “trespass on my heart one more time.”

Driven by heartfelt vocals, “One More Time” captures a feeling many people experience but rarely say out loud, the tension between protecting your heart and still wanting one more moment with someone you can’t fully walk away from.

The track continues Goodwin Made’s focus on emotionally honest storytelling through music that connects deeply with listeners navigating love, loss, family, and resilience.
